Bose - Could i save myself some cash?

    As others have pointed out, for less than the money you're talking about spending you would be wise to consider Denon who make some excellent mini hi-fi systems with DAB tuners integrated in.

    I'd not rule out the TEACs too, they often beat the Denon's in Hi-Fi press reviews, it's a close call, both are excellent, (DAB tuners built in, everything from single receivers to mini separates and more), and I'd recommend both.

    I wouldn’t touch Bose again for serious audio.

    In their defence, their professional sound equipment/PA kit is very good.

    It's the domestic models that trade too much on style and lack susbstance.
