Experiences of moving from Sky to Talk Talk broadband package

I'm thinking of cancelling my Sky TV subscription and broadband package and moving to Talk Talk who seem to be the cheapest on pure cost (although I am happy to be corrected on this). I just wondered what the experience of others was in moving between these providers and would like any advice on what to do and the pitfalls to avoid?.
