Broken Television

Hi, I am really sorry to hear the OP'S problems with their philips television. We got a Philips television as a wedding gift in 1993 (28in screen) and we took out a £100 warranty to cover up to 5 years and I am pleased to say the television is still going strong . I am loathed to change it for an Lcd until it goes on the blink...but it doesn't seem to be happening !! I don't think they make products to last now . It is a sad reflection of the times.0
