I love my GHDs. Sorry, I just had to add that! lol I've had mine for 4 & a half years now (got them as an easter present from my boss! BEST BOSS EVER!) & they still work just the same as they did when I got them. I've NEVER wrapped the cord round them, I leave them to cool then put them back in their box....... Yes, I'm sad, but I've looked after them and they continue to look after me! I have friends who've gone through 2 or 3 pairs of other brand straighteners while I'm still on my original GHDs. THEY'RE WORTH EVERY PENNY! lol x

Bumping this thread up - I need some too. Had mine for about 8 years and they finally died on me after the plug went up in flames! I think mine were from a batch that had dodgy cables, but I looked after them and they've been ok. OH replaced the plug on them and they seem to be ok now - but just in case, I want to know where to get some from at a good price.

Yes thats the correct website for hairadditions.

I am also looking for anything cheaper than that - I have suggested looking at that website as it still falls under the legitimate list and are slightly cheaper than the GHD website, among others..

anyone managed to find something legitimate, cheaper? Everyone seems stumped on this one

Well, anyone after the pink kiss ones, they are apparently £99 on www.lookfantastic.com (or could be .co.uk), still not cheap enough for me!

i found some ghd's on a couple of websites, but am unsure if these are real as they are really cheap.
Was just wondering if people knew if these websites were legit?
