I don't think supermarkets are allowed to sell cigarettes anymore, the best place as already mentioned are the tabac shops

If they were all the same brand I am surprised they were taken,most people that get caught out like this have an obvious 'shopping' list,

Indeed, they also think that C&E Officers are stupid, which they are not, they can easily spot if someone is a smoker or not.

yes Im sure the anti smokers :mad:will be along soon saying things like, 'yeh they can smell your stinky clothes/yellow fingers,etc:rotfl:

Don't know if I was smuggling or not. Last year we were on holiday in Spain & went to Gibraltar a few times. Each time we brought out our legal limit 200 cigs each. In the end we had 1200 between 2 of us which we brought back to this country. Anybody know if this was ok?

If brought in 200 a time they would be legal in Spain, but I'd guess you could not then legally take them to another EU country more than 200 at a time.
