Calling UK from USA - Any tips
We are about to holiday in Florida and will need to call home maybe twice a day for family reasons. Any tips on the best (cheapest) way to do this.. Also I have a QUAD band phone with Orange on contract so that we can be contacted - what is the best way for our family to phone us ?
Have searched forum but coming up blank.
Cheers

best way would be to get your phone unlocked and pick up an American sim card. Works out a lot cheaper.0

If you could get the UK people to phone you direct to your hotel room or villa, I can recommend the Royal Mail phone card, it only cost me something like 85p for a 25 minute call to my DD in Las Vegas this week. When we are on holiday we just ring the UK phone number and hang up and then relatives phone us back in the US using the Royal Mail card. Otherwise, I think Walmart etc sell phone cards to phone the UK with, not sure how cheap they work out though.0
