Confused about what speed i will actually get

Im going to get sky broadband its a brand new build with new lines etc. Which speed would i get with the medium sky package 2mbps or the 6.5 "max" one.

You will get the speed for the package that you subscribe to with Sky because your exchange has Sky equipment (LLU) see here

My package is "upto" 8mbps with 40gb usage cap.

So i should get upto 6.5 mbps then?

You won't know until it's up and running, as it depends on the quality of your actual line to the exchange. Looks good though!
