Something I was unclear about, sorry if it's been asked before; in terms of Piggy points, is there any point in staking more than five racecaller points per race?

In terms of piggy points, no, you get ten back for a winner regardless of your stake.

    Sunday 16th June

No real dead certs today and I cannot decide between 2 horses:

Salisbury 14.30 Soft Shoe Shuffle 93/100

    http://www.racecaller.com/getpage.php?race=86150331

    Stratford 16.55 Noble Minstrel 69/50

    http://www.racecaller.com/getpage.php?race=86150535

Noble Minstrel has gone up 7 lbs since his win at Fontwell 3 days ago but has AP McCoy on him as he did for his last 2 wins but this race is a grade higher.

    The choice is yours.

I'd already gone for Soft Shoe Shuffle Merlin - so I'm glad you agree with my pick on that one!!

    Cheers for the tips!

  • I've heard a few people on this thread talk about birthday piggypoints but it was my bday on Tuesday and I haven't received any. Do PB still give them out?

In terms of piggy points, no, you get ten back for a winner regardless of your stake.

if you bet 20 piggy points and win, you get more piggy points back to play on the racaller pigsback league than you would if you had put 5 pp on a horse and it won, it all depends what odds the horse ran at,
if you come in the top 10 of the league by the end of the month, there are big piggy point bonuses to nab, it is quite difficult to do though as you have to back very long odds horses, and bet the maximum 20 points per race to maximize return,
    as a guide,
oer has 994 points, and is number 1 in the monthly pigsback league.

    1st Place: 5,000 PiggyPoints 2nd Place: 4,000 PiggyPoints 3rd Place: 3,000 PiggyPoints 4th Place: 2,500 PiggyPoints 5th Place: 2,000 PiggyPoints 6th Place: 1,500 PiggyPoints 7th Place: 1,000 PiggyPoints 8th Place: 750 PiggyPoints 9th Place: 500 PiggyPoints 10th Place: 250 PiggyPoints

How can you see how many points you have to bet with? Got a winner again, thanks everyone :)

You had to actually contact Pigsback and tell them your birthday. I have to say even then some of us (me for one) didn't get any and/or were told it's not working at the moment.

Hmme, I'm assuming that's Sunday 15th, as tomorrow is the 16th - and I know, cos it is my birthday!
