What Family estate with good fuel economy?????

    Thanks guys for all the suggestions. I am now looking at the 1.9 sri diesel Vauxhall Zafira. Seems to be good on fuel and a decent road tax bracket.

    Despite what the official EU fuel consumption figures you see for cars are, other independent tests have demonstrated that at speeds 70mph+ (i.e. lots of motorway driving) fuel consumption increases much quicker as you increase speed for MPV's compared to equivalent cars. Worth keeping in mind if you do spend a lot of time on the motorway.
