Reclaiming Interest & Repayments on Credit Cards

Is this link for real? http://promo.gmgradio.com/2275/

Its just been advertised on our local radio station.

I have searched the forum to see if there is already a thread, I couldn't find one. So, I do apologise if I've missed it.

Many thanks. Dee

Why would you want to pay these people loads of money when you can do it yourself for free with a little research on the internet.

Unless of course you are connected to the company.........surely not.
  • No connection to the company. Just a member of the public who heard an advert on local radio, thought this would be the place to ask the question regarding its validity as couldn't find anything on t'internet.

The reason I asked the question "Is this for real?" in the first place was due to the ridiculous charges being mentioned. Apologies if my post came across as an advert - it wasn't meant to be. As you can see, this was my first attempt at posting.

No problems, unfortunately this site does get rather a lot of Spam so people tend to be suspicious.

These schemes have been raised on here before, but the general conscensus is that they are charging rather a lot to do paperwork that you could do yourself with a bit if research.

That site and a few others like it have been spammed on the site in the last few days. Is it correct? Technically... no. Some of it is correct, other parts they are not technically correct on.

You can request a copy of your CCA at any time. £1 payment is required for this to be a legally binding request. If they cannot produce the CCA within 12 working days the debt is unenforcable - without going to court. This would mean that if you were making payments towards the debt, you could stop making them until it was decided that the debt was enforcable.

Lots of details in this thread http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=578486

    Hi Dee_Dee,

Sorry if that was a little harsh.
Yes I think it's for real.
    People will fall for it.

If you are in debt or have problem the last thing you should do is pay someone to sort them out.
Either research for free and do it yourself or get help from a respected charity or voluntary organisation like the CAB.

Unfortunately some people are naive, not very bright or vulnerable and are taken advantage of.
