My Dell came with Google. Is there any benefit to having Firefox? If I have Firefox does that mean I have to lose Google?
Computers are wonderful, but are sooooo confusing.
It's all a matter of preference, really. I tried Firefox and their e-mail package because I found Internet Explorer irritating and kept picking up spyware, spam, etc. We haven't had those problems since.
You can have more than one browser installed and swap between them if you like. I didn't uninstall IE from the PC, we just don't use it. I know some people have problems using certain sites with Firefox, e.g. Tesco shopping pages.Debt at highest: £6,290.72 (14.2.1999)
