No, I hate you and I'll never speak to you again :p;):D

I didn't actually spot what you'd done till late last night, having been snoozing on the sofa and watching Casualty ;) ... by which time I reckoned it was a bit late in the day to worry too much about it. If anyone had asked to see the photo then I might have asked you nicely if you could host it for me edit back in the link ;)

No worries, and in a way I'm relieved it's gone as I did worry about people being upset by it as this is the last place one would expect to see a photo of a snake, even if it was a diddy baby one :D
No worries and yes I'd be happy to host it for you if anyone wants to see a photo of your baby snake. It's lovely :)

If it wouldn't be at risk of turning into cat food I'd love to have one myself :)

  • I have a Hadgen sc and was wondering if a whole chicken would cook in it if i put it in upright, as my pot is deep. I could not fit it in like you would in a tin. I have been unwell today and need to cook chicken tommorrow while out.

Found it - thank you soooooooooo much CQ - I've already switched it on high so now I'm going to pop the onions and garlic in the bottom, then the chicken on top and can quite happily disappear out the door for a couple of hours :):). I've used my slow cooker several times since I've had it but only looked at this thread about a month ago and I am soooo pleased I did. The information and recipes are superb. Thank you!

Chicken was delicious! Bones and everything else together with carrot/onions etc etc in slow cooker cooking away on low to make stock. Easy when you know how isn't it - thanks to you lot on here:):T
  • I'm a slow cook virgin.....blush.....but fancied trying my new one with the rice pudding recipe I found on the board.....but...I don't have any evaporated milk - would double cream work in the same way???

    This is the original recipe...

Butter the inside of the cooking pot. Add 400ml milk, 150ml evaporated milk, 50g pudding rice, 50g sugar. Stir and cook for 4-5 hours.

I'm interested in this thread because I've had a slow cooker for years and all I've ever cooked in it is beef casseroles.
