ISA limit decreasing to 1000?

Was just speaking to a guy in HBOS who suggested that the ISA limit was going to be decreased to 1000 as of april, has anyone else heard anything similar, or whether or not there will be a replacement product?

Quite. What kind of people are they employing! If they aren't aware of even though most basic financial information that you can pick up from reading the financial pages of The Sun they should maybe be looking for a career change...
