3g skye phone

Hi

I want to use skype on my skype phone but not call anyone. I just want to do the texting bit.
Do I still need a tenner put onto the skype phone just to type a message to someone?

    Hi

    Thanks for replying.

So if I top up a 15 quid a month and get the 300 texts/mins on payg, I would have to add another tenner onto skype bit inorder to use the texting part of skype?

so I would need to add 25 quid a month to use both?

No, if you top up £15 the Skype is included for 30 days. If you "Stretch" your £15 you will get 300 mins/texts, 300 3-to-3 mins, free voicemail and Skype.

A £10 top-up will give you the Skype element and £10 worth of mins/text at 12p each.

£25 "Stretch" gives you 700 mins/texts, 300 3-to-3 calls, free voicemail, Skype and £4 left over for whayever you want.
