You have regularly offended people on all threads with your posts.
Look at my thank count on the left, if this was the case, it would be a big fat zero.
Perhaps you should consider studying for a medical degree too, that way you would be in a position to accurately comment on medical conditions you actually know very little about. And that way you would not cause so much offence as you would be submitting research based evidence on the various conditions people are claiming for.
I do not need a medical degree to work out disabilities such as ADHD and eczema are not in the same category as DS/MD etc
There should be a difference in award and i am extremely dissapointed that these differing disabilities are not categorised with different financial rates.
The way i have learned through this thread is that someone with life threatening MD is awarded exactly the same as a child with ADHD. That surely is not right, no matter what way you look at it.
Or is that just me:rolleyes:
(Also, back to the post count thanks on the left hand side, you have 130+ more posts than i do, but yet you have received 440+ less thank you's. If i was just out for a fight as you say how on earth have i managed that?? What on earth are all my thanks for?)

You are taking the p**s surely?
Erm no. Who is the 1 that is being continually attacked in this thread. I think if you go through my posts in this thread, there is not 1 disruptive post.
The O.P has never got annoyed with me and thats all that matters. As soon as the O.P lets me know i have gone too far then fair enough but as far as i can see she has actually thanked me for my posts.
I think its you that needs to get a life pal:rolleyes:0 -
Are you being serious?
Please show me where i have criticised?
Also please show me where the O.P has got annoyed with me, infact i think you will find that she has thanked me in quite a few of my posts.
Why thank me if i was criticising her?
Its you bunch who are fighting with me, not the other way around:rolleyes:
Like a pack of hungry hyenas, its you guys that are ruining this thread, not me.
You really are taking the p**s!! "you guys"? Who is that then? Anyone who dares argue with you?
and yes, it really is just you. You come over in your posts as a resentful, jealous person - kind of a "poor me, poor me, it's always worse where I am". Get over yourself.0 -

Why on earth would i be jealous of a disablement?
Why is there an argument brewing? What is causing it? Is it me? Show me proof of where i have provoked an argument in this thread.
Nope you cant:rolleyes:
Poor me....always worse where i am? What the hell are you on about? Please explain?0 -
Fizzel....
I shall leave this thread alone now, i hope you find post number 22 in this thread helpful as it should be a rough guideline as to what you can claim.
I shall let the hungry hyenas just get on with it, i will not entertain their baiting no longer and i apologise if i have played any part in the deterioration of this thread.

Mitchaa in a post you made back in May regarding DLA, you patronisingly told the OP of that thread that she would be " financially well looked after by the state" and that due to her partners income she would be well off.
You are fully aware of the ins and outs of DLA as your previous comments are testament to. So while you do at times give constructive comments, you always put a dig in at the end to make the initial poster feel bad.
In my opinion (and I am in the medical profession), little children who spend their day in agony, and who suffer horrendous pain at the slightest movement or touch due to the nature of their condition are severely disabled. They are life limiting conditions (in that they cannot lead "normal" lives). My DS in contrast is in no way physically disabled, however he cannot be left unsupervised even for a short period as it ends in disaster. He was diagnosed at 4 (which is very unusual), due to the severity of the conditions. His conditions have a profound effect on his little life at present (hopefully this will not be the case in a few years time).
Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy, at the end of their very (sadly) shortened lives, in my opinion is more a terminal disorder (in that it can not be cured). I fully agree that their needs are far more excessive and as such should receive a higher award or indeed a totally different type of benefit that acknowledges their daily needs. However to date the Government and benefit agencies have not produced such a benefit. Also Down's Syndrome has varying degrees (some can live independently, have G.C.S.E.'s, and hold down full time jobs aswell as having a normal lifespan), although I am well aware there are extreme ends of the spectrum and they too can have severe conditions which would prevent them from leading full lives. In such cases should they not receive DLA if they are able to live independently? There are varying degrees of many conditions, DLA is not an easy benefit to obtain for anyone, even more difficult for children. So those that do get awarded, have clearly demonstrated extreme cases, not only from personal application forms, but also from the testimonies of experts in the particular field.
What you deem to not be severe, may be having a huge impact on those that live with it on a daily basis, not just on the person themselves, but also those that spend 24/7 caring for them.
You should be non-judgemental in your comments, and you should make well informed comments because at times your words can be quite thoughtless.I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

Glad to see it is not just me that notices this, and very sad to see that as usual, mitchaa resorts to personal insults as a retort.
As I (and several others) have said mitchaa, if you don't like a thread on the Benefits board, then leave it alone. If you need information, then ask for it, but it is not your (or anybody else's) place to question the entitlement of another poster.

Of course you should have asked, we are on here to help each other, not to question the system or indeed the posters. You can gain invaluable information from other users. I would never have even applied for DLA had I not received a PM on here from another member with a child with the same problems as my DS. As far as I was concerned he wouldn't get it, but he did and it has enabled him to have things he wouldn't have been able to before the award.I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.
