Can I keep broadband if I get rid of Sky tv?

Hello-Can I keep broadband if I get rid of Sky tv?
I have "free" broadband with my Sky package (Sky+ with multiroom and digiboxs). I'm quite happy to pay for the broadband but want to reduce my Sky to the equivalent of, say, freesat or get rid of it altogether. I have a BT line but hate their convoluted packages and just want a simple wireless broadband. Thanks!

I am fairly sure that you cannot, check the Sky Contract that you signed up to.

Cheapest way of keeping your Sky broadband is to subscribe to the basic package i.e £16/month for the entertainment mix only.

If you cancel your Sky subscription all together you will lose your Sky broadband.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

Until the new stand alone BB package comes in you must have Sky tv to get BB from Sky.
