WANTED! - copy of VOIPCHEAP 2.07 build 192 beta

Ever since i accepted the upgrade for VoipCheap from build 92 to 198, I can't make calls, cannot log on and many other problems. Does anyone have a copy of build 192 they can e-mail me?

  • I don't have 192 but I've got 166. Don't know if that's any use but I'll mail it to you any how. Good luck.

    (EDIT)
The attachment was rejected! I'll rename it and resend without .exe :S
  • Thanks. Have received it. Will install when I get home.

Are you using this build yourself, i.e. have you paid the £5 and getting free calls to landlines?
  • I have the latest build, 198 but when I signed up, you were only required to stick in £1 for the free calls! :)
  • Can't get latest build (198) to work. Tried it with the free 1 minute calls. Tought it was good. Signed up with £5 credit to get free unlimited calls then the damn thing popped up with an upgrade which I allowed, DOH!
  • My copy (downloaded today) is 207.199 which is working perfectly.

If you're still struggling, I have a copy of the 192 build here.

PM me if you want me to send it to you - I don't want to send it if you're inbox is already full of them ;)
  • Regarding voice quality, I take my home phone off the hook, then phone myself via Voipbuster. When I get the 1571 message "Phone in use, please leave a message" I leave myself a message. Then I replace my home phone, dial 1571 and can check on the call quality before making any important free calls with Voipbuster.

    :rotfl:
  • Thanks for all the offers of help. VoipCheap works perfectly though my work's wireless router (although call quality can be a bit iffy sometimes. However, I've looked htrough a few forums and it could be down to my Ozenda router. Have found some references to setting up a router at http://www.voip.org.uk/forums/index.php?action=vthread&forum=6&topic=455 and have also found references in my Ozenda menu's under NAT>SPECIAL APPLICATION> then scroll down page to drop down menu where it says "PC to phone".

Haven't tried it yet as other half is online but will report back if I have any success.
  • its the same has voipbuster.com download that1
  • Have you looked on the 1899.com site? they have a free download and are offering free voip calls. Not sure if it is the one you are after but worth a look or at their sister site, call 18866.com.
