Exactly!!!
I sold a kitchen for 4 times what the OP paid. People spend what they can afford and it's not for other people to judge them for it...
My dad is a building surveyor and also designs granite kitchens, I sometimes help him and out and the total cost can exceed 30k quite easily
I try to help as much as I can. But I'm also honest and speak my mind.

So many wrong assumptions in that post...why?
I very much doubt they are incorrect.
You've been acting like an arrogant, opinionated, jerk and ignoring a perfectly reasonable forum rule. There must be a reason for that.

..and you appear to have missed the being nice to ALL moneysavers..which to use your words is a perfectly reasonable forum rule?
So me saying it's daft to pay 30k for a kitchen is wrong under MSE riles, but you calling me arrogant, and a jerk is not?0 -

FIXED...you are correct. You altered my words and didn't answer the question.0 -
There's very few on MSE who have a one million pound house.
I would say that mse has a representative cross section of the population and so there will be plenty more than a few that live in million pound houses.
Look after the pennies and the pounds look after themselves.June challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving
July challenge £50 a day. £ 1682.50/1550
October challenge £100 a day. £385/£31000 -

How many is more than a few though? I reckon less 1-2% is a few and more than maybe 5% is more than a few number wise. An MSE poll?0 -
