Zonealarm is a very good firewall. It's only drawback in the free version is that it doesn't work with ICS.

many thanks everyone now Runing AVG and sysgate firewall

My comp now seems to be much quicker as well, i cant believe how fast it loads now many thanks to every one especially Mr Sint cheers mate!

Dont forget to register Sygate only takes a mo, its just the form that
appears when you restart yer machine, Tip So ok yer PC Might be
scanned by an outside source, a little notification box will appear
if that gets on your nerves do this, Right hand click the Sygate icon
near your PC clock (two arrows) Then choose Options, Now put a tick in
the box and click OK, On the General Tab, Put a tick in (Hide Notification messages)
and then click OK, It still does the same job but without the annoying popup box.
