Cash Isa at Lloyds TSB

Hi im im currently a student and will be starting my first year at university later on this year and want to sort out my finances. I currently have just under £10,000 in a cash isa with lloyds tsb but i seem to get paid a really low amount of interest. After depositing the full 3000 the first year i got £88 and the second year after depositing another 3000 got around £140. At the start of this tax year i again deposited the new full amount of 3600. Tsb pay interest annualy and i get a statement each year, which is about it. I got a letter again the other day on how their dropping their interest rates again to 4.75% i think it was for having over £9000. So am i better of staying with tsb or have i got any other options? i probaly will be depositing the full amount each year for atleast another 3/4 years and wont be withdrawing anything if that helps....Would be great to have an account which i could check online whenever, tsb did tell me they were setting this up a few months back but nothing ever happened. Any recommendations that are pretty simple would be great taking into account im 18 years old

thanx
billy

Suggest that you read through this post, especially noting those Cash ISAs which permit inward transfers.

I would, personally, be choosing a better ISA manager and applying to them to transfer the LTSB ISA into their Cash ISA product.
