I'm a mobile "thickie" can you please help!!

I went to buy my son a camera phone yesterday. The offer in the Link shop was a Virgin Lobster for £39.99 but to had to top up with £20 and £10 off for Trade in. making a total of £59.99.

Not knowing anything at all about camera phones I asked if the photos could be put onto the pc. I was told yes but would need a cable for £30 but you could no longer get the cable for this particular phone.
After asking various questions I came away without the phone, and thinking he didn't know much more than me.

can anyone please tell me do you always need to purchase a cable separately or do some phones include everything you need to put the photos on the PC, and if it's not too much trouble can you recommend a small PAUG camera phone thats not to expensive and tell me what else I need to get to put the photos on the pc.

thank-you in advance

Michelle

  • The lobster is a decent spec for its price.

However, as it has no bluetooth, and no infra red, the only choice you have is indeed to get a data cable.

You could probably pick these up for next to nothing on Ebay, and should be simple enough for you to figure out from there.
