    Morning everyone.

Louise - good luck with Ofsted
Cat - hope th emove goes smoothly - I take it he's oblivious to today's activity?
IA - hope there's not any permanent damage.

How was everyone's weekend? I had a deadly dull Saturday studying despite the glorious sunshine then got practically drowned at the Taste Festival in Edinburgh (was a fab afternoon tho).

Must try and concentrate on work today and not sit on here all day...

  • Ash got up early to go to the toilet and managed to flood the bathroom!

Did the little one have too much juice last night? :)

In all seriousness, I'm sorry to hear the bad news. I hope there isn't too much damage and that you can get it sorted without too much fuss.

Good luck for you and your friend today. That sounds like a really stressful day. I'm glad she had her lightbulb moment on leaving the !!!!!!*

It did to a point... but I guess the water was coming out too fast.
I did have to chuckle when I came downstairs and the ceiling light was full of water as it's an upturned style one! whoops!

Hope you manage to get the mess sorted out IA. I'm stressing as have two strange child tax payments today and nothing was due - it's £40 less than my usual payment so hoping they've not lowered it to this amount, nowt in the post yet to explain it...

Morning  Today I am mostly studiously avoiding updating my diary so that I don't have to admit to the £200 we have put on my credit card this weekend. :o

Cat, hope all goes well with helping your friend.

IA, oh my goodness what a nightmare - hope there's no damage once it has all dried out.

Anyone know of a company that makes bubble-wrap suits for babies? I have the clumsiest, most accident prone little girl that was ever born. She has only had her cast off for a few days, and already she has bust her lip, bumped her head (about 6 times), pulled the wine rack over onto her (luckily there were only a few bottles in it, and they missed her as they fell out), trapped her fingers in the kitchen cupboard, fallen backwards off the sofa and got stuck in the small gap between the sofa and the toy chest.

    I am scared!!! :rotfl:

    Hi everybody! :hello:

    Just thought I'd say hello.
Just two weeks to go until I re-enter the world of work and pay slips! :j
    Also... No exams left! :j

Unfortunately... An absolute shed load of house cleaning and tidying to do when I get back.

And also... My front lawn really needs cutting. I haven't cut it this year (been away from home), and it's got rather long.
