I worried that they were going to stop accepting Clubcard vouchers earned through Personal Finance for the Clubcard Deals.

Yes, I am worried about that too.
  • Well with reference to earlier in the thread I got a letter turning me down today - suppose it wasn't really that much of a surprise. However there was a number to ring if I wanted to discuss it which I did.

Turns out it was because of my credit rating which I accept, but the guy also said that having been turned down because of this I would automatically be turned down again if I made an application within the next EIGHT months (not 6). Will not affect me as I will now wait until CCJ is removed in June but may be useful info. for others.
  • Sorry to hear that Iona :( ... but thanks for the info about the 8mth thing!

It does give me some hope then that they may reconsider my application as presumably my credit rating was satisfactory otherwise they wouldn't have suggested sending in my bank statements and proof of ID?

I think they probably just need proof of my income as I'm not actually working so fingers crossed it goes ok. I've sent off all the paperwork this afternoon so will be a week or so before I hear I expect.

I called Tesco PF again this morning, as I hadn't heard anything since sending in all my paperwork, and they told me my application has been accepted this time and a starter pack/credit agreement is now in the post to me :T

Bearing in mind it's taken them almost 2 weeks just to process this stage, how long can I expect to wait for the actual card once I return the credit agreement?

    It's only me again! ;)

I signed and returned the credit agreement almost 2 weeks ago now and I'm still waiting to receive my actual card!

I'm sure when I applied for Cap One and Barclaycard they arrived within 7 days once I returned the credit agreement. Are Tesco always this slow at processing everything?

I've been waiting to place an online grocery order (largeish one for the month) and wanted to put it on this card to get the extra clubcard points so I'm really annoyed it hasn't arrived yet

Is it worth me calling them to find out or does that make me sound desperate LOL!

  • I think it says 14 days from receiving signed agreement to getting card, if you haven't got it yet I'd phone them to check when it was sent out ;)

I applied for one the other day and got accepted :D I'm looking forward to earning some more Tesco points as this will be the first card to give me 'rewards' back!!
