Can i get out of Sky Broadband before 12 months?

Options
I've currently got Sky+, Sky talk and Sky Broadband, but for the price im paying for broadband id much rather switch to another company. I've only been with them for about 5 months, but id really like to get out of the contract. Is there any way i can, and would i have to pay an early termination fee?

You've committed yourself to the agreement, so yes you would have to pay the early termination fee to break you from the contract.

How much are you paying then? Sky broadband starts at £0/month and I doubt you can get an ISP that pays you for having their broadband.

I had the same deal with Sky. Unfortunately the service was absolutely terrible and the speeds were slower than an old style dial-up modem!!

After hours spent on the phone over a period of weeks I managed to get them to admit that the service was not up to scratch and allow me to leave my contract at no penalty.

You don't seem to have any problem with the service though, and have stated that you are looking for a cheaper deal. Therefore, I doubt whether they would allow you to leave without paying up the remainder of your contract.
