Buying from HONG KONG?

I walked into a vodafone shop to buy a usb cable for my mobile. I was amazed to see that it cost £30 loadsa money. Anyway I came back to look on here and looks like a lot of people are selling them from Hong Kong!

Does anyone know anything about this? Whether it would be ok or maybe where I can buy a cheaper one! I was really annoyed to miss one that went for £2.20 or something like that from a UK seller!

I bought a pair of trainers once from a Hong Kong Seller, never received them so had to do a chargeback! does anyone know anything about these sellers?
