Afternoon. Big black clouds here and feeling quite stormy. It was very hot and close in the park this morning and a few rumbles of thunder wouldn't surprise me.

I'm not going to do any AQA today, I'm going to give myself the day off.

Need to have a look at my course work for my course tomorrow though for a bit this afternoon.

Just had our phone call with Payplan regarding the best way forward for us. Now waiting for the assessor to call back in a few days' time with his/her suggestions. Just hoping they don't suggest bankruptcy!

Cold and miserable here, but no rain. Wish we would have a storm though, I love a bit of thunder and lightning.

aargghh, does anyone have a Sony Walkman??? If so - where do you download your music from? I'm trying to get some stuff for mine and although I can transfer music from existing CD's, it won't transfer some singles Ibought from HMV, the free single on Tesco Digital, a free movie on iloaded or the other WMA files I already had. I bought a video on itunes thinking I could change file types but it won't have it.

I've put everything through some file transfer software and it still won't work!

At the moment I'm just started to dig through CD's - some I haven't played for years so there should be loads I can move over for now.

Bit of an 'eclectic' mix so far - Abba, Communards and Carol King!!!

lol............I've always been a huge Abba fan. When I was 10 or 11, I had the Super Trooper album on red vinyl (ooh, get me!) and me and my best friend Helen played it constantly.

It did help that she was blonde - she was the blonde one, I was the brunette in Abba!!

I've got a 6.5 hour train journey up to Grimsby on the 10th so I'm going to make sure I stick loads on it to get through it - I get very bored travelling on trains and find the only interesting bit is the food trolley passing through!!

I'm going to try a free DVD I got in one of the papers a while back to see if I can get that to work on it.

    Hey all,
Well, after a bit of a mental melt down last night, I had an absolutely dire sleep last night and stressed about how much I had to do before B-day party for Joe.

Party went ok, no dramas and he got some great presents-I got him these remote control dinosaurs and he is terrified of them! lol!

Called my Dad today and he seems to have forgotten the offer to help pay for tickets back home this summer so it looks like a holiday free zone for me and the kids this year *sigh* I shall still take the time off and we can just do some days out and maybe a weekend in Devon or something...

Poor Joe is shattered and sleeping on the sofa-I hope he'll still sleep at bedtime!!

I have a HUGE load of laundry to iron...bum

Well done Bunny for surviving the party. I always swore 'never again' after each one. At DD1's 4th party she threw a massive temper tantrum just as all the children were arriving and then stayed in the kitchen until it was over. I could have swung for her that day I can tell you. The home video makes for interesting viewing....

It does get easier as they get older (doesn't get any cheaper tho').

BTW - any luck with the pics??
