Thanks andan,
Unfortunately I don't have a car now and can't manage to get the shopping home on my own.0 -
on tuesday I started my job at the pub and told the landlady that if there were any extra shifts going to give me a ring - so she did today!
So instead of working just 4 hours I worked a double shift, bringing in an extra £20....and hubby had done the ironng when I got home this evening.
Every little helps!2014 Target;

Hi All,
- Had a look round a big Lidl's in Newbury (I had been to weight watchers, and I was round the corner). I need to make a list of things that I could buy there, and see if they are any cheaper than Sainsbury's (I have just done a big monthly shop & spent £120 for the month).
- Went to Homebase to buy things for the veggies - canes for the beans, new pots etc ~ spent £50 but then mum said to deduct the money from the housekeeping (must pay housekeeping in a moment) and I can re-use the things next year
- Done daily clicks in Quidco
- Raised an enquiry on Quidco about 'missing' £110 from L&G ISA ~ would really help if this was paid to me
- Checked my earnings on Quidco, and found that £65 is on its way to me (fingers crossed for tomorrow)
- Emailed a competition entry to a magazine (you know the type ~ I've been betrayed by my husband, the binman and the stripper)
- Filled in more competition entries in magazines
- I have resisted the urge to do anything that will increase my debt any further (buying clothes, going for a meal with hubby etc)
- Checked online banking and done a spreadsheet of what more needs to be paid this month
Debts at the start of my journey - about £23,000 lightbulb moment 01.03.2007 (1st payment to CCCS)..Debt Free Date 25.06.2013 Deposit savings £17,000/£30,0000 -
I will give ya a kick tomorrow Empty Purse :j. It'll only take ya a couple mins. Good way to start the month off.
We all have days like that at times so don't beat yourself up - tomorrow is a whole new day.
I've kept myself going today by having a BIG list to refer to... I like getting to cross things off!! Taken SEVENTY-ONE (71!!!) photos of things tonight to ebay, which I'd have procrastinated about otherwise. I didn't get my whole list done (entire side of A4) but I have done 16 things off it today and might try to do a couple more before going to work in the morning!

And lots of new(er) posters on here today - hello! :hello:
Better go to bed shortly, or I'll give into more sleep before work as opposed to more things off the list... :rolleyes:Debt - Loan: £1150 C/C: £4763 @ 0%.0
