Checking remaining allowances on mobile networks

I am currently with 3 but I am considering changing network due to the very poor upgrade offers received for the Nokia N95 8GB. One of the main reasons I have remained with 3 is that you can easily check all your remaining allowances (voice calls, texts, etc) on the handset without having to speak to someone and they are up to date. I do not want to change to a network where it is inconvenient to check these.
Therefore, I would like to know how you check remaining allowances (for contracts) on the following networks…
1) Vodafone
2) Orange
3) O2
4) T-Mobile
For each of the above, I would like to know can the remaining allowances be checked using your mobile handset, do you need to speak to someone, and are the allowances up to date, and if not, how long is the time delay before calls and texts show up (eg. 24 hours).
I would be very grateful for any information received and hopefully this will help others in a similar position as well. Thanks J .

With Vodafone you ring 191 and select option 1,1,1, you then receive a text detailing cost of calls, minutes remaining texts sent etc. The network delay means they say last 72hrs may not be included but personally I think it can sometimes be more than this more like 5 days. There have also been times when I have requested text and not arrived. This is normally towards end of month.
Personally not going to recommend Vodafone due to their lack of action in barring premium rate unsoliciated texts..details on another thread..
hope this has helped you in some way0 -

You check o2 by sending a free text to 21202.
They reply with your remaining allowances (though they say could be up to 48 hours "behind").
You can also see the same info by logging in to your account on the o2 website.0 -
T-Mobile you can check online in My T-Mobile, text "AL" to 150, or dial 150 and follow the voice prompts.0

I am with Orange on contract. You can either access remaining minutes on the internet or by dialling 150 and wearing out your finger by pushing a succession of 1s. However as with the above posts the info is not up to date but it does state when it is from. Info can be up to two days old.
I also have a virgin account and that does seem to be up to the minute. Check with them though if you are interested.0 -
