My neighbour had Denby white from Debenhams. She took it all back because the knife and fork marks were just too much. They refunded her in full no problems.
In my opinion, if you have a crockery set (certainly one so costly) then it should look good and not mark so soon. Why don't you write to Debenhams and see what their reponse is - or even Denby for that matter.0 -
I have Denby Imperial Blue, wedding pressie 9 years ago, and touch wood, have not had any casualties yet! Use it everyday.Only 5% of those who can give blood, actually do!

The marks from cutlery are not damage to the Denby but damage to the cutlery. We noticed a few marks and bought ourselves a set of Denby stainless steel flatware, and we haven't had any more marks on our dishes.0
