    I have been looking on the maxijet thread and people have contacted debit card services in southend to try and get their money back.Has anyone got a copy of a letter they sent and do you know if you can claim for the additional charges I am going to have to pay to rebook with BA

    The Southend address is for Lloyds customers. You need to contact your own bank, give them a call.

    Virgin Atlantic were offering to help out passengers with Silverjet tickets but it may only temporary. Have a look at it anyway.

    for those not 'stranded' by Silverjet and travelling in the future the airlines are only removing the advanced purchase and saturday night restriction......after maxjet and eos went to the wall silverjet and ba offered discounted fares ...of course the competition has now dwindled so it's back to the status quo.
    i've re-booked my flights with BA.
    i wonder if anyone booked flights with maxjet then re-booked with eos , then re-booked with silverjet and are back to square one ??????
