opt out of new contract ?

I have just got a new O2 contract and its not really what I need, can I cancel within 14 days and just pay for what I have used ?
I am unsure of this.

    I think on all contracts now you have 14 days to change your mind. So do it tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

    :confused: why return the sim cut in two? Is that so they can't trace any calls made or phone numbes etc?

    I would guess so that if it got lost in the post, no one could run up a huge bill.
