The Link-AAAARGH!
This is a long story so bear with me!
On 19th April I ordered via their website a Nokia 6500 and a PS3 on a Panther 55 contract with £20 a month cash back. On Tuesday 22nd April I arrived home at approx 5p.m to find a card from Citylink on the doormat saying- parcel left on doorstep- NOTHING else! I went straight to the back doorstep and ..............NOTHING! I immediately rang CITYLINK who advised that they would be investigating as their contract with the link was that ALL parcels would be signed for and that I should also imform THELINK -which I did immediately. They said that they would investigate.
I then received a bill from Orange for £69.00-I immedaitely rang the link and said that I wasn't prepared to pay as I had no phone! They said that they would refund the monies.
So I waited........
Finally on 13th May a new phone and PS3 were delivered-meanwhile I got the bill out and noticed that the contract was for Panther 75 -not 55 as I had ordered-once again got on the phone and was told that ususally you weren't offerd a freebie (the PS3) AND a cashback and could I forward to them the confirmation email -which I did.
Meanwhile I told them to CANCEL my contract and come and collect the phone and PS3 because quite frankly I had had enough!!
I have been advised that ORANGE say it is too late to cancel the contract, the LINK told me last week atht they were going to sort this out and I have been told on numerous occasions that my £69 will be refunded.
To cut this short.
I now have ANOTHER bill from ORANGE for £55-I have cancelled the DD. I have an unopened, unused Nokia 6500 and PS3 still sitting here awaiting collection................:eek:
