  • If you are interested in cutting your phone bills you would be better off registering with https://www.call1899.com and getting all your peak rate 01/02 calls for just 3p connection ,talk as as long as you like at no extra cost. Also your mobile calls would be cheaper. Then for evening and weekend calls, and capped mobile rates register with https://www.justdialsaver.com for their free evening and weekend calls to 01/02 offer.

Talk Talk do not employ a sales force, the person who called on you would be working for an agent. They do have a relatively good name.I have used them and experienced no problems.

I've been with Talk Talk since they've started and have had no problems. I'm on Talk240 which gives me 4 hrs free evening and weekend local calls a month. So i try and use the phone after 6pm . I don't think they offer this tariff anymore.

    CS is good.
A lot of MSEs use talk-talk.
You can find some information in these articles:
Home Phones: Step by Step MoneySaving Guide
The UKs Cheapest Home Phone Calls Provider

Now they offer 'Free weekend UK landline calls for life* ' on Option 1 (analog).
More info: Talk Plans , TalkTalk £1,000 Challenge*
Also: Talk Talk, Free £10, Totally free eve calls thread on Referrers Board.

However, they have competitors that offer better deal but poor CS:
    Just dial saver lite (merged)
Our year with talktalk is almost up.
  • At the moment Talk Talk offer Free weekend calls on Talk 1,which if you are on BT option 1 is good .They also offer free calls to other Talk Talk customers at any time ,and a discount for your calling circle similar to BT friends & family . At the moment they are not offering free evening calls unlike just dial saver but there customer service is good and if you are a Talk Talk customer you can phone them for free .
  • I have been reading through there booklet that the guy left, and its mentioning somthing like talktalk plus and they will take over my line rental from january and that will also be cheaper on the line rental from bt, is this true or am i still obligated to bt for line rental?

Dont take the line rental it can be dearer than BT if you have caller display !

TT line rental is £9.50 PM and £1.50 for caller diaplay, BT is £10.50 and caller display is free.

Also they may block providors like 18866 i did ask but the TT guy on the phone wasnt sure
