I'm a few months into, I think its an 18 month fone contract, with "3" , I was thinking about cancelling it, its to big really as well for how much I use the fone. But can you cancel it and do they charge you if you do? Also do they take your fone from you? Hope that makes sense. :o

You are tied in for 18 months. You will be contractually obliged to pay whatever your monthly tarriff is for the full 18 months. Companies don't usually take the phone off you but you will have to pay for what you signed up for unfortunately.:o

  • So if your paying £30 per month and have 15 months left you will need to pay them £450 to get out of your contract.

It all works out good in the end.

Yes, unless you have the option to cut down your package (more often than not, you don't, or at least not that early in the contract).
    Gone ... or have I?

I've moved this to the Mobiles Board :)

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Three do not allow downgrades within the first 18 months according to this page
