every couple of daysI check whenever I use the internet but I don't use it EVERY day. I know what's in my accounts so my checking is more to do with safety ie fraud." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

What is in it for the bank to do this?
Maybe the next post is close to the mark.
I login to my current account every day to check for new transaction plus DDs and SOs that may have "appeared".0 -

So if there is a problem you can sort it or let them know, saving them having to cary out a bigger investigation should the problem not be spotted early on.
Also in hope you will switch from paper bills to paperless, saving the bank moneyDELETE ACCOUNT.

Same, I also like to have statements as I have heard you can only get 365 days worth of statements.
I use my statemenst as proof of ID when applying for any credit so very much need them still.:DDELETE ACCOUNT.

every couple of daysBlimey, several times a day seems a lot. A lot of things happen overnight rather than during the day!
Once every 2-3 days is enough for me. I then update the balance on my forecast spreadsheet (containing the values of monthly direct debits, full Egg Money balance as a negative, and estimated daily spending on food etc), zero out any payments that have successfully gone out and that tells me how far into the black I'll most likely be by the end of the month.0 -
one a dayOnce a day for banking and credit card, as I want to know that all is OK. The sooner any 'dodgy' transactions are found the better I thought?
I had a DD taken wrongly yesterday so by checking today I got it sorted and will be refunded tomorrow.0 -
2-4 times a dayI use it several times a day... for absolutely no reason at all except to just look at my balance which never changes, and I'm so glad to know that there are other people who check it as obsessively as I do!
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0
