Please help.
I have just recieved my sky bill in and it includes 77.35 worth of phone calls for 76 minuites:eek: .
I have phoned sky and spoken to a very nice lady who did everything she could to help(so thanks holly),
Apparently while my oh was tipsy he phoned a programme called Quizcall on channel 5 between 12.07 & 1.23 am a total of 103 calls in this time(nearly 2 calls per minuite which i would have though was nearly impossible)at 75p per minuite.
The lady at sky has said that I should phone them with a complaint as she thinks that there is a limit as to how much/many call that you can make withinn a certain time frame and say that I am going to report them to offcom.
My question is does anybody have any experience of something like this and any advice.
Thanks for any help recieved

From quizcall.co.uk
Looks like calls are a flat 75p, not per minute. If entering via telephone your call will cost 75 pence using BT's network. Calls from other networks and public phone boxes may vary, mobiles will cost considerably more. Ostrich Media takes no responsibility for any such variance in charges.Ostrich Media recommends you set yourself a limit of 140 entries per day, though entries over 140 will still be entered into the Competition. Ostrich Media operates a Fair Entry Policy and may exclude entrants from entering future Competitions where it believes an entrants actions contravene such policy. Ostrich Media's decision in such matters is final, will be communicated to the entrant prior to implementation, and no correspondence or review process will be entered into.Do Something Amazing - Give Blood0 -
Thanks Marshall2k,so really I can't do anything about it and offcom will probably not listen anyway.

Also a summary of the ICSTIS guidelines here, and in particular:Participants must receive warnings about costs for every £10 spent in a day.
TBH I would be very surprised if he did not receive such a warning (it would be an automated message). If he is anything like me when I'm drunk, I don't listen to a word anybody says to me?!
If the warning was given, then unfortunately you have no grounds for complaint.Gone ... or have I?0 -
