One Stop Phone Shop - Excellent Service!

After much soul searching (having read all the bad press on this website) I opted for an Orange Mobile contract from OSTP in March.

6 month point was reached on 7th September and I received the bill from Orange and sent it off last Thursday via recorded delivery with the claim for a £70 refund. Received a cheque in the post this morning:j . (just hope they're as good with the next 2 claims)

Just thought I'd post it to let people know they do get it rightsometimes:)

Same here I have seen plenty of horror stories with onestop, but for me they came through I recently received my cheque for final £180 refund.

Who knows maybe they are getting things right now where they weren't before.

I made one phone call as payment was a little slow on last cheque, initially was told to make enquiry by email but refused and asked to speak to manager, manager came to phone and confirmed amount due and that payment would be despatched immediately, payment received around ten days later, make sure you speak to line manager/team leader and let them tell you how much they are sending if you don't supply the amount and they get it right you know they are not spinning you a line.

yes, OSPS certainly seem to have pulled their socks up. I sent in my claim for 2nd cashback on 12/09 and received the cheque yesterday. So things are getting better.
  • They seems to send cashback cheques out in batches. My claim was sent by recorded delivery 5 weeks ago and I have just received the cheque yesterday. Those who sent their cashbacks this week may not get them until the next batch. Would be nice if someone who has sent their claims this week will let us know when they receive their cheque.

Bitter truth- I faced the same problems as mentioned on this url.Two years ago they told me to send the fifth bill also to claim the cash back and now this year when i ordered the o2 phone they didn't sent it and when i enquired they told me to re-order it and cancel the previous online order. This all they did to avoid the payment to reestit-mutton affiliate url and £10 online voucher.Better to price match the deal with e2save.
  • I've not had a problem with their service. I got a (vodafone) contract phone with them 18 months ago. I never even thought of sending it by recorded delivery, but all my letters were recieved by them. I feared for the worst when I got my first claim sent back, but it turned out I had sent a claim and bill a month early. Three successful claims later I'm happy to recommend their service.
