Help.....photo printer

What do you mean by portable and what sort of camera do have
a lot of modern printers allow you to attach the camera directly to the printer and some have small screens to allow you to do basic editing which mean your relatives don't need to have a computer or the software for your camera.
Most printers now are able to produce very good photos especially the epson and canon ones. I've got a Canon IP4000 (costs approx £90) which is fairly light and will easily pack away into a car boot without too much worry.0 -

The Canon IP6000D looks good (although not seen a review) it will print from most types of camera media and pictbridge enabled cameras has a LCD screen and some basic editing capabilities and the inks are easy to get and cheap online. The only problem is I'm not sure it's exactly what you'd call portable. It would make an execllent printer for home that you could possibly box up and take with you though.
I'd recommend having a look on the manufacturers web sights and seeing what you need then trying a few price checking sights (as I said before I recommend Epson and Canon both for the quality and the cost of the inks) hope this helps0 -
Just found a review at this site for the Canon IP6000D

and you should be able to get this printer around the £150 mark0
