Yes, but if you're with a bank which doesn't operate through the Post Office (which I was), and you don't have a bank branch anywhere near home (which I don't) ... I'd still like to go to the bank during the week, thank you very much!

it's daft isn't it ... banks don't close at lunchtime in my town, they just have big queues. the staff stagger their breaks so there's always somebody working. i'm lucky, i can finish work at 3 and usually have enough time to sprint into the bank and out again before going to pick up kids from school.

Our local branch only opens 2 - 4 in the afternoons and it's always packed, so you have to wait nearly that time! ok, so I am exaggerating a bit, but it does take ages...

Don't go at lunchtime?

I dont go in there at lunchtime any more, although when worked F/T that was the only time I could go, as they are closed down here on Saturdays.
