HSBC Bank

Why do their staff go to lunch at exactly the time when we need em!! Surely they must know that one of the busiest periods will be during lunch time!!

Maybe you should have your lunch between 11-12pm or 2-3pm ;)

Bank staff like most other 9-5 workers have lunch between 12-2pm.
Just run, run and keep on running!

    Lol - too right ;D

I work in retail and managers are not allowed to 'lunch' between 12-2pm. :( I'm always famished by 2pm :'(
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

When my sister first went to work for a bank, they employed part-time staff to cover the lunch breaks.

No idea if it's still the case though :-/

    It's not just me then!!!

Mind you, there's always a big queue whenever I go into my branch - and one member of staff working... :(

More annoying than that is when I pay some money in and then get asked "who's your mortgage with" or some other random question. >:(

Next time I'm ready with "why, who's yours with?" ;D

I just pop in now and then.... :)

At my Post Office there is a single queue system but about seven cashiers. You practically have to run once you join the queue.

    You're lucky, whenever I go in there there's a queue a mile long... :(

Sorry, you've lost me here. When are people in full-time employment supposed to go to the bank if it isn't open before or after their working day?
