Just taken the electricity and gas meter readings for past two weeks. Day time electricity and gas usage have again dropped, night rate electricity remains about the same. The averages therefore are dropping and hopefully after end of September we should at worse, be close to 2007/8 values. With some sound data in place we can then look at improvements against this in future.

I am sure you would have some fancy graphs for this ;)

    Hi StuartGMC

Just browsing through your diary and wondered if you could send me a copy of your spreadsheet? Seems to have had a lot of positive responses from the folk who have used it throught your thread.

    PP I've sent you a PM :D

As noted this week the new printer included offer to get a free set of laser toners CMYK which would normally be about £110. Completed the form and faxed (!) back to Xerox in Belgium. Hope these will come through; just made the cut-off date of purchase before 30 June, but they had a caveat of "while stocks last" so we'll have to see if they arrive.

Got my smallest cashback value so far confirmed today; 7p from Play.com for two network cables :rotfl:

  • Been having a right nosy at your gas and electricity consumption. E.On does our graphs for us when we enter monthly meter readings. It also plots last years consumption which was the previous owners (single elderly male) who used twice the gas but slightly less electricity. Makes sense interms of having the heating on for longer but probably didn't have the TV, laptop, iphone charging, two electric toothbrushes etc. Most recent consumption for us two is:

    Gas: May 11 kWh/day June 6 kWh/day
    Electricity: May 4.4kWh/day June 4.2kWh/day
    MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.
