Ah, it's nearly the weekend!
Chris Evans is on the radio, he always puts me in a great mood
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
Linda did you see the other day that he's paid a silly (obscene) amount of money for a sports car ?Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0

funny if slightly sad conversation with my niece Amy just now on the phone - she's 6.
Amy -"My Nanny has died"
Me - "I know, she was my Nanny too"
Amy - "Was She?? Ooooh. I didn't want her to die"
Me - "well, me neither"
Amy " I wanted her to be alive so she could get to 100 so she could get her ticket from the Queen"
Me "A ticket?"
Amy " Yes, when you're 100, you get a ticket from the Queen. I don't know what's on it because I've never seen one. I don't think anyone can ever be 100 - and be alive!"
Kids eh............
Just had a call from OH - he'd forgotten it was a race night at the club tonight - I'm quite pleased as I'd rather stay online with you lot. I'm going to get a bottle of something nice on the way back. He'll be round in a bit then I'll grop him off."Stay Wonky":D
