When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Today I will:

Bit of shock horror when i checked my online banking. I went part time on the 25th of April so presumed i would receive most of my salary for that month, however for some reason or another i am £250 down. Pretty sure it will have been worked out right, as i have only moved from one school to another school, however, things look tighter than planned!
Think i will be looking for things to ebay today as well!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Morning Sophiesmum et al :hello:
Well today won't be a good MS day I thinkBut I have/will
- not walked to work, as I need to do the other side of sorting yesterdays money panic. But I'll go to the butchers and get a belly of pork and do chinese pork for my hungry sons tonight. (Recipe from OS board) rather than a takeawy
- That will not quite make up for the inability of me to refuse the office Friday lunch from the chinese - but I'll stick to singapore noodles as it's cheap tasty & filling
- I've done my clicks
- I've done my on-line banking - and I've received my winnings of £60 from Lotto24 which I only did for the £15 cashback :T £70 clear profit!
- Quidco have received on my account £110 for a L&G ISA that I only enquired about, and didn't actually take up :T Money is coming easily to me
- 2 more items listed on e-bay. Camera battery flat, and I'm not technical so DS1 will have to sort that for me.
- Free Bingo, won nowt, cost nowt.
- Charging phone at work.
- will sort stuff this weekend for a boot fair with my sis in the next few weeks.
- Driving to the west country and will cruise gently to save fuel, rather than tearing down there as fast as I can.

Morning
I've been at home all this week but today I'm going to be checking the freezers and cupboards before I write out our menu for the next week and then meet Wayne in town to do a grocery shop.
I've done my piggy clicks
I'll do my quidco clicks (10p is still 10p)
Car insurance runs out on Sunday so I'll be doing that as well today (final checking via cashback sites to see if I can get cashback)!

Morning all,
Andan - that's a bit of a blow. Hope you can find a way to make up the difference. I listed loads on ebay last night and am hoping some it will sell, cos i could do with the extra cash too!
Today I have / will
-check online banking
- maybe make a loaf in the BM
- eat tea from storecupboard / freezer (using up some curry paste which has been lurking in the back of the fridge for weeks, and some natural yoghurt which went out of date on 26th may! )
- poss trip to cinema tonight - don't want to pay the ticket cost  , but will take my own pick and mix sweets and drink !!
- my hairdryer blew up this morning, but have found a cheap one on boots website and its 10 advantage points per pound spent today....
Have a good day everyone,

Oliveoyl, my boyfriend is the main culprit when it comes to chucking clothes on the floor that he's only worn for a few hours, there is often literally a mountain of clothes on his side of the bed. That and all the computer games, as he runs an ebay business! The only way you can tell its a bedroom is because there is a bed there!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Morning all,

Thanks Falady, just one of those things i suppose, am sure it will right itself, but a bit of a shock to see at first and something i'm going to have to get used to. Its also a bit of a kick up the backside to be more frugal and to really work on getting an additional job for a few more hours. All will right itself, its just a bit of a jumble at the mo!
Seems like were all having early mornings today though, great to see!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j
