    If someone is only charging £50 they must be claiming benefits as well, but seeing as you are living in a council house and yet own a property then benefit fraud and breach of council tenancy agreements obviously mean nothing to you !! Not all builders are rip off merchants, they work long hard hours and often have to waste time pricing jobs for idiots who want to pay peanuts (but want a top quality job so that their property price is increased by thousands) So you left the comfort of your steady job in IT and did a bit of DIY good for you, try plastering ceiling after ceiling when you are in your 50's for months on end, then tell me that honest builders are not worth the money !
