What do I do with new sim card?????

You have to unlock your phone. If you spent enough money on Virgin (about £30?) they will unlock the phone for free AFAIK. Otherwise search this board or pay about £10 at your local market for unlocking.
Then you can use your phone on any network (besides Three probably).0 -
some phones aren't locked, trying swapping the sim card over.
power of the phone,
open the casing
remove the battery (not always neccesary, depends on phone)
remove virgin sim card
insert orange sim card
replace battery (if need be)
close casing
switch on phone
if it can find the orange network, then your phone is ok, if it cant then you will need to get it unlockedsmile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....
