I just checked my bank statement for a payment received to my credit card on 6th may and it left my bank account the same day - in fact though i would say it still took a few days but got backdated

Oooh - lot of point. I can pay over the 'phone in seconds (except that not offered!) . Need to get the car out - round trip of 10 miles - park etc ... to get to a Branch. But may not be the same for superstar.

.. at the options. Hadn't realised you can do it via ATM (provided it's activated). So the practical options appear to be in Branch or bung a cheque in the post tomorrow (but only if you have a payslip - bit risky otherwise). Either will get there in time - but the latter retains funds longer.

lol what i meant Mike was no point doing it over phone if tis only going to be the same timescale as online, - no need to be sarcy!

You can do it at an ATM - called a bill payment, leaves the day after - so same as online again.

Oooh - that hurts. Was under the impression you were comparing 'phone v Branch? And was just gently pointing out that not everyone is as close to a Branch as you are!

I haven't got time to do my banking, hence me doing it online!! - too many people and their bank charges lol
