Sinking into financial quicksand !

Hi Suzkin
I agree your efforts are better spent looking for work you are qualified to do, it will pay more there is no doubt about that, although, I have to say, cleaning can be very lucrative. A friend of mine runs a small cleaning business, just her really and she is raking it in.
The tax credit issue is slightly misleading in my signature. Its a long story but I wasn't paid 19.5k, although HMRC said I was. Its taken 5 years to sort out, but they over paid me by about 3k, all there own doing which they have admitted to, have apologised for and no I don't have to pay it back. If they had got it right in the first place there wouldn't have been an overpayment....its called doing your job properly and not passing the buck when it goes wrong.
Good luck finding alternative employment anyway, its pretty tough out there at the moment. I hold down two jobs to pay my way and support my family, one full time, the other running my own business. Its not easy but that's life !
KimVarious CC's 1.2k down £800 Overdraft £1.5 down £2000 loan 1.5k last payment made today Tax Credit overpayment (HMRC mistake!) £19,5k written off !
