NatWest ISA to e-ISA

Hi all,
So I've got a ISA account with NatWest, and I always manage all my accounts online (in fact, I have the rest of my savings on an e-Savings account).
So I thought "Well, since I manage my ISA online anyway, I might as well get an e-ISA and the extra cash". So I went to NatWest to request my ISA to e-ISA, and it seems there is no way to do so! The financial advisor didn't know, and the helpdesk didn't seem to know either.
Anyone experienced that? Is there a way around? I know I could transfer my NatWest ISA to, say, and HSBC ISA, and then transfer it back to a NatWest e-ISA, but surely there must be a simpler way! In the meantime, I'm stranded and wasting a potential extra 0.1% AER (or whatever it is).
Thanks in advance for any help!
