18866 price rise

I would just like to say when I first came across 18866 about 2 years ago ,they charged 1p per minute and 1p connection fee which we all thought was great .Now after a few changes they charge 0p per minute & 3p connection fee .I do understand that they didnt tell customers about the price increase in advance . But I still think 3p for a call is good value for money .I would rather pay 3p connection fee than 1p per minute . so lets get over it and move on ,lets look for the next bargain and stop living in the past .Whats done is done lets move on .

I just spotted this today. From the itemisation of calls, they went up from 2p to 3p/call on 6th September. Still good value, but must remember to make some of those calls a bit longer!

  • I agree that 3p a call is value for money. I'm waiting for my first bt bill since using 18866 and can't wait to see how much i've (hopefully) saved!

Has anyone noticed a chang in their billing, not just the penny rise, my itemised calls seem to be all different prices, even the ones to land lines numbers

I have just checked mine and its ok .But I do remember about a year ago the calls before invoice where 9.99 each .
When the invoice arrived there where 2p each .
No one else seemed to have any problem at that time .

Edit ..I wonder how many will now check there bill as they read this ..

    Hmmm

    Not quite as happy:-

No notification of price rise; certain parts of web page still shows 2p connection fee.

I don't think this is good business practice...next rise could be anything and you wouldn't know for a month!!

    Still good value though.
