Wishing to dispel the thought that I am a gloomy Herbert, I thought that I would post the good news ...

You would never be a gloomy Herbert, I might just get gloomy if my extra pension starts to decrease as the Euro prospers - can't win them all I guess.

See you all on Sunday evening when they have finished mucking around with this websight.

Nothing much to report here, final test of 24 hr BP today, and see the Dr tomorrow evening. Been keeping up the walking, and starving and have lost half a stone since I have been here.

Just looked at Ferry Crossing and can either wait until the 20th or maybe try for 17th, depends what the Dr. says. Hoping weather is good enough to try a different Pyrenees crossing. Looks like the N20 and then across is the most suggested route. Also gave us a suggested route via the edge of Luxembourg and Belgium back from Verdun to Dunkirk. Will try it as we can fill up with cheaper fuel and see if it is OK for car/caravan combinations for the rally. No Premier Classe near Verdun, so may get to Troyes and stay and go the next day, may have one night there or move towards Metz after I have spoken to the site owners, though we did fancy returning to a restaurant there. Will do the new route in daylight as will be different scenary and we can see the road conditions better. Will have to consider then whether to stay in Dunkirk overnight, or cross and drive home, but not something we like doing driving all night. We have to consider the M25, so we either hit it between 11-2pm or after 8pm at night.

France Telecom have let Moiliere down and she still isn't connected.

Went to Crevellente on Sunday to see the small Palm Sunday parade, the palms the children carried were very good. the one thing I really liked was the children were dressed nicely and smartly as children, and not mini Britanny Spears and ruf tuf lads.

Hi there everyone - Guess what - I FOUND MY PASSPORT - Cries of Hooray and jubilation - it fell out of a Saga Holiday brochure that I decided to check out. I am starting to itch for a holiday. Cancelled two since the passport went missing. Now I am going to luxuriate and find something nice. Might have to be Holland - got withdrawal symtoms - want to see my two nieces.

At least I can relax, I have been prowling around the house, shaking magazines and piles of paperwork like someone possessed.
